Ingredients
- 3 cups plain flour
- 1 cup lukewarm water
- 2 ½ tsp instant dry yeast
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp salt flakes
Preparation
- Using the Cuisinart Precision Pro Planetary Mixer, place the following ingredients into the mixing bowl in the following order: lukewarm water, yeast, granulated sugar, salt, olive oil and flour. Use the dough hook attachment and set the mixer to the pre-programmed dough setting. The dough may be ready before the full kneading cycle ends, when the dough pulls away from the side of the bowl, is elastic and smooth.
- Place the dough in an oiled bowl and in a warm environment to rise for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
- When the dough is ready, punch down to get rid of any air bubbles, and knead into a ball being careful not to overwork. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and roll out to 2cm thickness
- It is recommended to use a cookie cutter in the shape of a bunny to cut out the dough shapes. Brush with egg wash for browning.
- Place the dough bunnies onto the Gourmet Pro Combi Oven baking tray, lined with baking paper.
- Set the oven to Convection bake on 160 degrees for 10 minutes. Once the oven has finished pre-heating at 5 minutes, place the baking tray on the middle shelf to cook.
- Bunnies are cooked when the tops are golden brown.
